Toyota Highlander Review

Here at Magic Toyota, we are happy to take a moment to offer you the 2017 Toyota Highlander Review. We are proud to offer you all of the trims of this standout vehicle, and all come well appointed with the latest comfort and convenience features. What’s more, the available powertrains are state-of-the-art and lend well towards performance and capability.

LE Trim of the 2017 Toyota Highlander

The LE trim is the first of the lineup, and it is motivated by a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that makes 185hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, as is a six-speed automatic transmission. The standard powerplant for the rest of the lineup is a 3.5L V6 that churns out 295hp and 263 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard for these versions, and of note is that this is optional on the LE trim. EPA fuel economy for the lineup is in the range of 20/27 mpg, city/highway. In this 2017 Toyota Highlander Review, you will find that the safety features on every trim are abundant. Standard are a tire pressure monitoring system, emergency braking assist, antilock brakes, and traction and stability control. A collapsible steering column, child protector rear door locks, and an energy-dissipating interior trim.

Impressive Exterior Features of the 2017 Highlander

Outside, you will find that the features of the Highlander are both impressive and functional. The LE comes with daytime running lights, LED taillights and stop lights, heated outside mirrors and color-keyed outside door handles. Also standard on this version are Bluetooth and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, auxiliary audio jack and a media player interface. In this 2017 Toyota Highlander Review, you will note that the LE Plus trim provides you with upgraded upholstery, fog lights and automatic climate control for all three zones of the vehicle. XLE trims get you a sunroof and roof rails to go with extra safety features like blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts. The SE gets you trim-specific wheels and many other accouterments, and the Limited adds a rear cargo cover. Finally, the Limited Platinum variant comes with a panoramic sunroof and front parking sensors. Ask your friendly salesperson about available options, of which there are a few.
